To identify an opportunity for Ernie Ball in the wall-hanger category, I examined existing products, their functional strengths and shortcomings, and the environments in which they are used. This research revealed an opportunity to move beyond functional hardware and create a solution that could securely support a wide range of guitars while integrating more naturally into the home.

I explored multiple directions for simplifying the visual language of the category while maintaining the functional benefits of existing hangers. Concepts varied in how they integrated the mounting hardware, supported different neck profiles, and balanced visual simplicity with structural requirements.
